01 Who GeoLustre is
A consultancy for the coloured stone world.
GeoLustre Mining is a gemstone mining consultant and gemologist. The practice exists to help mine owners, mining companies, investors and project teams understand gemstone opportunities with more clarity and less assumption.
The name holds the idea. Geo is the earth: the rocks, structures and processes that create a deposit. Lustre is the light that returns from a polished stone: the beauty, precision and value that the market sees. Serious decisions need both.
02 Gemstone mining consulting
Reading a deposit before judging an opportunity.
Coloured gemstone deposits are irregular, often small and frequently misunderstood. Consulting work focuses on the geological controls behind an occurrence, the quality and consistency of the material, and the way the ground is being explored or worked.
The outcome is practical: findings stated plainly, risks and gaps identified, and recommendations that fit the stage of the project.

03 — Gemology
The stone in the hand.
Gemology identifies what a stone is, how it formed and what has been done to it.
Inclusions, colour, optical properties and crystal form are evidence. Read correctly, they separate natural from treated and synthetic material, suggest geological origin and inform quality. That understanding feeds directly back into the evaluation of the deposit the stone came from.
